Yvonne Annette Janssen, 54, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died July 13, 2020 in Cozad, NE.

She was born July 17, 1965 in Gothenburg, NE, daughter of  Fred and Sharon K (Harvey) Engberg.

Vonnie grew up in Gothenburg and lived in the area her entire life.  She loved horseback riding and horses in general.  She enjoyed spending time gardening and growing flowers.  She liked to play games on her phone.  She enjoyed cooking.  She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She was a member of the Crossing Fellowship. Vonnie married Dave Janssen and they made their home at Gothenburg. Her family was very important to her especially her grandkids. She was very loved and will be missed very much.

Survivors include husband, David Janssen of Gothenburg, NE; three sons, Brandon (Amber) Davis of Atlanta, NE, Dewey (Jamie) Davis, Cody (Molly) Davis; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Jackie Frye, Rico Enberg; four sisters, Dakota Enberg, Roxie Schescke, Anna Mosley, Sasha Haehn; her dad Fred Engberg; along with many extended family and friends.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her mom Sharon, grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles and other family

Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Friday, July 17, 2020, 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Memorials may be given to the Fresenius Kidney Care - North Platte, 785 E Francis Street, North Platte, NE 69101.
