Valerie Peterson

Valerie  Peterson, 77, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died February 10, 2020 at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg, NE.

Valerie was born in Gothenburg on February 2, 1943 to parents,  Edward Eugene and Lucille Sarah (Johnson) Kratzenstein.

She married her best friend, Harlan Peterson on December 7, 1968.  She enjoyed many years with him out on the farm and making many daily trips to town for coffee, donuts and conversation with friends.  Valerie also loved animals, especially her cats on the farm.

Valerie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and grandparents.

Surviving are brother, Van Kratzenstein of Greeley, CO, nephew, James Kratzenstein of Littleton, CO, niece, Lori Guthrie of Aurora, CO.

Valerie was preceded in death by husband, Harlan Ralph Peterson, parents, Edward and Lucille Kratzenstein.

Graveside services will be held at Gothenburg Cemetery, Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jamie Norwich McLennan officiating.

Burial will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery, Gothenburg, Nebraska.
