Tracie Monson

Tracie Diane Monson, 60, of Axtell, Nebraska, died November 28, 2021 at Mosaic Care Home in Axtell, NE.

She was born August 30, 1961 in Gothenburg, NE, daughter of  Donald O.  and Mary E. (Fix) Monson.

She was born in Gothenburg, and grew up in Wild Horse Valley. She attended Spannuth Country School, from kindergarten through 6th grade, she then attended high school at Brady High School, graduating with class of 1980.  Following graduation, she worked at the Opportunity Center in North Platte for a number of years. She was always willing and ready to lend a helping hand around the ranch whenever needed. Tracie enjoyed her cats, talking to everyone she met and loved telling jokes, she could often be found putting a puzzle together or doing any kind of trivia board games. She loved to watch tv and movies.

Survivors include two brothers, James Monson, Michael (Brenda) Monson;  mother, Mary E Monson of Brady, NE; step mother, Jaynet McCance.

Tracie was preceded in death by father, Donald O. Monson.

Memorial Services will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm with John Gosswein officiating.

Memorials may be given to the Mosaic in Axtell, or to the donors choice.
