Rusty Lee Dishman, 61, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died January 28, 2021 at his home in Gothenburg.

He was born February 20, 1959 in Gothenburg, NE, son of Grant and Wilma Doriene  (Horner) Dishman.

Rusty loved his little dog “Missy”.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, attending stockcar races, going to car shows and parades in his '68 Firebird. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and had been attending the Cozad Christian Church. Rusty, although never having any children of his own,  followed his numerous Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews, always asking how they were doing and what they were up to. He will be missed by all who new him

Survivors include four brothers, Junior (Irma) Dishman of Cozad, NE, Danny (Aurelia) Dishman of Cozad, NE, Terry (Mary) Dishman of Cozad, NE, Randy (Patricia) Dishman of Gothenburg, NE; sister, Darla (Roger) Lungrin of Farnam, NE.

Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Wilma Doriene, brother, Tim Dishman, and sister, Marsha Dishman.

Services will be held at the Cozad Christian Church, Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Larry Viter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery.
