Willis Wilson

Willis Wilson, 79, of Maywood, NE passed away Saturday April 16, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

Willie was born to Walt and Mabel (Hayden) Wilson on January 26, 1937 on the farm, south of Maywood.
Willie married Lynne Wiseman on October 4, 1958.

Willie spent his early years farming with his father and sons then later in life worked at several local sale barns and  attended nearly every farm equipment auction.  He was known for always knowing where the next auction was going to be and what machinery was going to be for sale.

Willie was preceded in death by his son Kevin Wilson.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lynne Wilson, his two sons Kirk (Mary) Wilson of Imperial and  Kris Wilson of McCook; daughter- in- law, Marilyn Wilson of Maywood; special nephew, Russ Wilson, Grandchildren, Tanner Jones of North Platte, Jared Wilson of Maywood, Anthony (Mindi) Wilson of North Platte, Tanna (Matt) Hanna of Imperial, Jamie (Casey) Gugelman of Farnam, Kayla(Andrew) McDonald of Culbertson, Lance (Megan) Wilson of Kearney, Marcus Wilson of Lincoln, Sara (Kyle) Jensen of Shelby, Aron Wilson of Omaha; and  10 great grand children.

The Family will receive visitors, Thursday, April 21 at Blase-Wetzel-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Curtis, NE from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

Private Memorial Services will be held for the Family.  Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life dinner at 5:00 PM, Friday, April 22 at the Maywood Community Hall.

Burial will take place in the Maywood Cemetery, Maywood, NE.

Memorials may be given to the Maywood Community Hall.
