William Preitauer

Bill was born on June 16, 1941 to Stanley & Ilah (Koster) Preitauer at Gothenburg. He attended Gothenburg schools.
Bill married Bonnie Booth on January 12, 1972 and became the father of 3 children: Billy, Mike, & Tina.
Bill moved to the ranch North-West of Gothenburg in 1976 and worked there until 1981, he then moved to his residence East of town. Bill spent his life as a rancher and loved to be around livestock, especially cattle, horses, and all pets. While living on the ranch he obtained an auctioneer license and drove truck.
Bill is survived by his 2 sons: Billy of North Platte, and Mike (Jody) of Gothenburg; a daughter Tina of Lincoln, a brother John; 2 sisters: Joyce & Adelyn; six grandchildren: Alyssa, Camron, Connor, Trevor, Jake, & Brady, 1 great-grandchild
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, sisters JoAnn Matthews & Myrna Sawle.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 11 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 10:00 am at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska, with Pastor Larry Viter officiating.
Burial will take place at a Later Date.
