Biography

Tulsa Flies, 35, of Ravenna, Nebraska, formerly of Brady, died May 8, 2014 as the result of a vehicular accident at Verona, ND.

He was born May 6, 1979 in North Platte, NE, son of Roy and Elaine (Aubushon) Flies.

Tulsa lived in Humbolt from age 2-6, then lived in the Brady and Gothenburg area until 2004. Most recently he lived in the Ravenna area. He graduated from Brady High School and worked as a truck driver. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He was baptized and confirmed in the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his kids whom he was so proud of; hunting, riding horses, and his pets.

Surviving are his parents Roy & Elaine Flies; three brothers, Travis (Angela) Flies, Tony (Michelle McQuade) Aubushon, Donnie Flies son, Trenton Flies; daughter, Riggin Flies; girlfriend Lacy Ienn; along with many extended family and friends.

Tulsa was preceded in death by his grandpa, Willard Aubushon; grandparents Wayne & Willa Flies; aunt, Linda Kuhlman; and uncle, Bill Flies.

Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Monday, May 12, 2014 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm. with the family present from 5-7.

Services will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, May 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tammy Aubushon officiating. In honor of Tulsa's country life, please dress casual for the service.

Interment will follow in the Peckham Cemetery, Gothenburg, Nebraska.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials should be directed to the family for a trust to be established for Trenton and Riggin, 826 D street, Shelton, NE 68876.
