Teresa A.(Terri) Hazen, 57, of Wellfleet, Nebraska, died January 19, 2021 in Omaha, NE.
She was born October 28, 1963 in West Point, NE, daughter of James and Evelyn Kendall. She spent her early years in Omaha and North Platte. She then moved to Grand Island where she attended high school and graduated from Grand Island. Terri attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and obtained a bachelors degree in art. On May 30, 1986 she was united in marriage to Lonnie Hazen in Grand Island. The couple moved to Wellfleet in 1989 and to this union two sons: Jesse and Seth were born.
Terri enjoyed spending time farming, hunting, fishing, gardening, and anything to do with arts and crafts. Terri was a member of the Lincoln County Garden Club and was employed with Paulsen Inc for over ten years, driving a Redi-Mix truck.
Survivors include husband, Lonnie D. Hazen of Wellfleet, NE; sons Jesse (Charlott) Hazen and Seth Hazen, seven grandchildren, her mom, Evelyn Kendall, brothers, Todd (Natasha) Kendall and Pat (Sheila) Kendall; In-laws, Chuck Hazen, Ronda Edwards, Sheila Hulme and Audie Hazen, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Teresa was preceded in death by her dad, father-in-law Dickie Hazen and mother-in-law Jan Hazen.
Visitation will be held at Blase-Wetzel-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Curtis, Nebraska; Sunday, January 24, 2021, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
Services will be held at Curtis Memorial Community Center, January 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow in the Wellfleet Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Lincoln County Garden Club.
