Sue House

Clarene Sue House, 74, of Gothenburg, NE, died January 20, 2018 at Gothenburg Health in Gothenburg, NE.

Sue was born October 22, 1943 in Ansley, NE, daughter of Forrest and Marjorie (Crawford) Dewey.

Sue grew up in Brady where she attended and graduated from Brady High School.  She worked as an LPN for Slacks nursing home for many years.  Sue then got her CDL and was an over the road trucker.  She married Don House on Oct. 9, 1985 in Dawson County.  The two of them drove team truck for many years.  They lived in Arizona and Tennessee and then retired back to Nebraska.

Sue enjoyed crafts, crocheting and knitting.

Sue is survived by her husband, Don House of Gothenburg, NE; two daughters Michelle Ferrari and Annette Cate; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; step-daughter, Dawn Leigh Swier; and sister-in-law Janice Dewey of North Platte, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Marjorie Dewey and her brother Marvin Dewey.

There will be no services at this time and burial will take place at Floral Lawn in North Platte at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the Gothenburg Senior Center.
