Stanley Thomsen
December 6, 1922 — August 24, 2006
On June 2, 1956 he married Mary Anne Stasch at Nenzel, NE. He was a life long resident of the Curtis area. He was a retired farmer who also did custodial work at the elementary and high school in Curtis Stan was a member of the St. James Catholic Church of Curtis.
Stan is survived by four sons Mike (Catalina) Thomsen of Madison, Wisc., Mark Thomsen of Denver, CO, Myron Thomsen of North Platte, NE, and Chris Thomsen of Cherokee, Okla.; one sister Katherine (Grover) Cole of Kinsley, KS' and three grandchildren Jennifer, Melissa and Beau of Aurora, CO
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Anne (August 1975), and a sister Norma Awtry.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 28, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Curtis, NE, with Father Ferdinand Boehme as Celebrant.
Visitation is Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Blase é�a��" Wetzel é�a��" Strauser Memorial Chapel in Curtis. Burial is in the Curtis Cemetery, Curtis, NE.
Memorials may be given to Sunset Haven Nursing Home é�a��" Curtis.
