Scott Wedemann, 46, of Curtis, Nebraska, died July 16, 2021 at Great Plains Health in North Platte, NE.
He was born August 16, 1974 in Aberdeen, SD, son of H. Lawson and Mary Ellen (Roemmich) Wedemann. He attended school and graduated from Northwestern High School in Melette. Following graduation, Scott joined the Army National Guard in 1993.
Scott enjoyed reading, working on old tractors, doing mechanic work in general, playing cards, jet skiing, watching cooking shows, car shows, and storage wars were some of his favorites. He loved to cook and especially enjoyed making his special barbecue sauce and having family meals. You could often find him in front of his fireplace or his firepit where he enjoyed making s'mores. He loved to spend time with his granddaughters, spoiling them whenever possible and was always ready to wrestle with any of the kids. Those that knew Scott knew that he had a love for eagles, wolves and unicorns.
Survivors include wife, Robin Wedemann of Curtis, NE; mother, Mary Ellen Roemmich; son, Alex Moler; two daughters, Esther Grooms, Breanna Moler; adopted son Thomas Knapp two brothers, Mark Wedemann, Robert Wedemann of Aberdeen, SD; sister, Marie (Steven) Rudebusch; three brother-in-laws, Floyd Moler of Iowa, Tony (Kris) Moler of Minnesota, Willie Jr. (Jamie) Moler of Casper, WY.
Scott was preceded in death by father, H. Lawson Wedemann, grandmother, Mary Wulff, grandfather, Josef Wedemann, Carol Wedemann, Herman Wedemann, Roger Spanjer, Karron Spanjer.
Visitation will be held at Blase-Wetzel-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Curtis, Nebraska; Thursday, July 22, 2021, 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm with the family present from 4:00-6:00 pm.
Services will be held at Vineyard Christian Fellowship, July 23, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.
