Sally Schnase

Sally L. Schnase, 78, of Maywood, Nebraska, died December 2, 2018 in North Platte, NE.

She was born June 24, 1940 in Maywood, NE, daughter of Lester and Evelyn (Roach) Schnase.

Sally grew up in Maywood and graduated from Maywood High School.  She later attended 2 years of college in Denver.  She was a lifelong member of the Maywood Methodist Church. She moved to Hillcrest Nursing Home to spend her final years.  The Schnase family would like to extend their gratitude to all of the staff at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook, and all those that cared for her.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Mae Schnase of Omaha, NE, her niece Karen and Rich Porter and their children Daley, Tyler and Presley; nephew Dave and Tracy Schnase and their children Dax and Dayton; adopted niece Julie Hazen; many friends including the staff at Hillcrest Nursing Home.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Evelyn; her brother, Bill Schnase.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10:30 am at the United Methodist Church, 110 S Plum Street, Maywood, NE with Pastor Charles Nyamakope officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Sally's name to the Hillcrest Nursing Home, Maywood Methodist Church or the Maywood Community Hall.
