Rosetta Stevens, 89, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died May 29, 2017 in Gothenburg, NE.

She was born January 18, 1928 in Beatrice, NE, daughter of Henry and Wilhelmina (Jurgens) Jobman.

Rosetta grew up out in the country near Beatrice, NE.  She lived there until her marriage to Raymond Stevens on April 23, 1950.  They made their home at Gothenburg where she spent the remainder of her life.  Rosetta was primarily a wife and a mother to their 6 children- Dale, Dennis, Linda, Dean, Tammi, and David.  She worked at Evans Frozen Foods in Cozad from 1970 to 1981.  She later worked at Jack and Jill Deli and Peterson's Deli.  She was a member of the Co-Burg Gals and Zion Lutheran Women's Group. She enjoyed her family, as well as visiting with everyone including her special friend Lenay, gardening, embroidery and baking.

Survivors include her three sons, Dennis Stevens of Gothenburg, NE, Dean (Shirley) Stevens of Gothenburg, NE; David (Marjo) Stevens of Hubbard, NE; two daughters, Linda (Ken) Long of Homer, NE, Tammi (Maurice) Williams of Westminster, CO; seven grandchildren - Amber, Raine, Bryce, Tyler, Hallie, Shelby, and Antonia; brother-in-law, Lewis Stevens of Ralston, NE; two sister-in-laws, Connie Stevens of Gothenburg, NE, Anna Jobman of Beatrice, NE along with nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Rosetta was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Stevens, her parents, son Dale Stevens, four brothers - John, Ernest, Wilfred, and Leroy, and two sisters Tena and Irene.

Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Thursday, June 1, 2017, 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm. with the family present from 5 to 7.

Funeral Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 77191 HWY 47, Gothenburg, NE, Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10:30 am with Pastor Carol Mapa officiating.

Interment will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery, Gothenburg, Nebraska.
