Rodney enjoyed many fun activities including going to dances, attending ball games, going bowling, and his beloved WWF collection.  He always looked forward to getting his wrestling magazines and figurines in the mail.  Rodney also enjoyed camping with Connie and Terry, and Scott and Sharyl on numerous occasions.  A few of Rodney’s favorite foods were Coca-Cola and Honey Buns!

He enjoyed rides around town in his dad’s pickup that his brother Marty restored.  One of his favorite hang-out spots was in his brother, Scott’s garage where he would shoot the breeze.  Rodney could often be seen riding his bike throughout the town of Gothenburg.  Following an illness in 2018, Rodney resided at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Kearney Nebraska where he received excellent care and loved to flirt with the nurses.  His mother, Lila and brother, Shawn also live in Kearney.  His sister, Sharlene lived close by in Elm Creek.  She accompanied him to many Dr. appointments.   He would enjoy visits from all family members while he resided at St. Luke’s.

Rodney never met a stranger and was very well loved!   His smile was contagious!
