Richard Loibl

Richard  Loibl, 68, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died June 21, 2023 at his home in Gothenburg, NE.

He was born July 13, 1954 in Cozad, NE, son of Maximilian R. and Irene (Newman) Loibl.

Richard graduated with the Gothenburg class of 1973. Richard loved cars, spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Joshua Loibl; life partner, Cindy McMinn of Gothenburg, NE; two sisters, Shirley (Hank) Schneider of Cozad, NE; Pat (Lane) Tederman of Lincoln, NE; two brothers, Rodger (Vicki) Loibl of Kearney, NE; Mike (Judea) Loibl of Culberson, NE; daughter, Melissa McMinn; two grandsons, Dominick Loibl, Jakoby Loibl; great-grandchildren, Liam Loibl, Brantley Loibl and Stella Loibl along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Maximilian and Irene Loibl, brother, Allan Loibl, sister-in-law, Myrna Loibl.

Services will be held at American Lutheran Church, Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with Doug Hjelmstad officiating.

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be sent to the family for later designation.
