Pamela Slack

Pamela Sue Slack, 54, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died March 30, 2014 at her home in Gothenburg, NE.

She was born June 9, 1959 in Gothenburg, NE, daughter of Claude Slack and Sharon Griffis.

Pam grew up in Gothenburg and attended school there. She later lived in Fort Collins, CO; Lafayette, CO; on a farm at Thornton, CO; before moving back to Gothenburg. She enjoyed cooking, family get- to-gathers and especially spending time with her grandsons. She also loved waking the girls up for "Tickle Sunday" and taking her cats for walks. She was the best mother, sister, wife and B-Ma anybody could ask for.

Surviving are father, Claude (Judy) Slack of Gothenburg, NE; mother, Sharon Griffis of Tooele, UT; two daughters, Skylar Miller and Jordan Miller of Gothenburg, NE; two grandsons, Brently Wilson, Jase Adams; four sisters, Cindy Williams of Gothenburg, NE, Melodi Rogers of Pahrump, NV, Kendra Jo Arron of Lincoln, NE, Rhonda Daul of Sweet Water, TX; two brothers, Mark Slack of Ft. Collins, CO, Roger Griffis of Salt Lake City, UT; her husband David Miller of Gothenburg.


Pam was preceded in death by grandparents, Kenneth & Eva Slack, brother, Mike Griffis.


Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Thursday, April 03, 2014 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, April 3, 2014 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Larry Viter officiating.

Inurnment will be at a later date in the Gothenburg Cemetery, Gothenburg, Nebraska.

Memorials may be given to the Family.
