Mary Jean Millsap, 88, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died May 20, 2018.
She was born September 9, 1929 in Yakima, WA; the second of five daughters of Omar and Marie (Adams) Hudson.
Mary lived her younger years in Green River, WY. Following World War II, Mary married Gerald Millsap. They had two daughters - Barb and Mary and settled in Gothenburg.
She worked cleaning offices and homes and as a care provider. Later, she worked at Monroe Auto Equipment, where she retired after 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gothenburg.
Mary enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling. Mary was generous with her family, friends, and neighbors and cherished time with her grandchildren. She liked to read and crochet.
Survivors include her daughter, Barb Millsap of Ord, NE; daughter, Mary Cahoy of Freeland, WA; sisters, Virginia Hudson and Rose Findlay of Gothenburg, NE; three grandchildren Danny Baumann, Katie Heier, and Casey Cahoy and five great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Special friends include Robyn (Dana) Favinger and her family - Kyla, Kelly, Karlye, Kristofer, Braelen, Dylyn, and Jeff Pearson.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Betty Waters and Juanita Hudson, son-in-law, Robert Cahoy, former husband Gerald Millsap, and Barb’s partner Roger Heermann.

Interment will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery.
