Laura Miesbauer

Laura Miesbauer, beloved by all who knew her, passed away on May 16th, 2023 in Gothenburg, Nebraska at the age of 55. She lived a rich and fulfilling life dedicated to serving others.

Laura was born on July 24th, 1967 in Gothenburg, Nebraska and later moved to Brady where she was raised by her loving grandmother who cherished her dearly. She grew up into a compassionate and caring woman who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

She began her career as a nanny in New Jersey right after completing high school and worked there for five years before returning back to Nebraska. Laura then spent the next ten years working as a CNA in Gothenburg, NE, where she became known for her unwavering kindness towards her patients. 

Laura had one son, Lance Miesbauer.

She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Janet (Hubbard) Miesbauer, Grandparents Archie and Ora Hubbard, brother Paul, Aunts and Uncles, Carol (Glenn) Hubbard; Dorothy (Byron) Hubbard; Susie (Pete) Hoaglund. 

Laura is survived by her son Lance Miesbauer of North Platte; sister, Peggy (Keith) Pflaster of Gothenburg, NE; cousin Michelle (Ken) Schaecher of Stillwater, OK; Rodney (Renee) Hubbard of Lincoln; Calvin (Jordyn) Hubbard of Grand Island; Brian (Rita) Hubbard of Gibbon; special friend Charlene Peck and many other family members and friends.

Her kind-hearted nature will be deeply missed by all those who experienced it. Her legacy will continue to live on through those individuals whose lives she touched.

A memorial service will be held at Church of Christ located at 2117 Newell St, Cozad, NE 69130 on May 26th, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with David Haynes officiating.
All who knew Laura are welcome to attend and celebrate her life

Memorials may be given to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
