Kanda Earll

Kanda  Earll, 43, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died December 22, 2016 in Kearney, NE.

She was born January 25, 1973 in Gothenburg, NE, daughter of Bernard Garrelts  and Donna (Earl) Garrelts.

Kanda grew up at Gothenburg and graduated from Gothenburg High.  She lived in Boise, Idaho, Lincoln, NE and Gothenburg. Kanda was a full time mother and loved watching her kids grow up.  She was an avid wrestling mom and loved spending time with her family and friends.  Kanda married Rodger Earll Jr on August 7, 2014 at Sturgis, SD.  Kanda worked as a sales clerk, most recently at Dollar General.

Surviving are husband, Rodger Earll, Jr. of Gothenburg, NE; seven children - Joe Ostendorf of Amherst, NE, Trent Ostendorf of Lincoln, NE, Morgan Ostendorf of Kearney, NE, Isaac Albertson of Hershey, NE, Joshua Albertson of Hershey, NE, Seth Albertson of Hershey, NE; and Hannah Albertson of Hershey, NE; step-children - Samantha Earll of Lincoln, NE, Tanner Earll of Kearney, Tory Linden of Lincoln, Shanee Earll of Kearney; grandsons Ryker Maier of Lincoln, NE and Harley Linden of Lincoln; siblings, Kyla Huss of Lincoln, NE, Kathy Garrelts of Ogallala, NE, Karen (Steve) Barrett of Gothenburg, NE , Mark & Jamie Poggendorf of CA; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Kanda was preceded in death by father, Bernard William Garrelts, mother, Donna Mae Garrelts, brother, Kevin Garrelts.

Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Monday, December 26, 2016, 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm. with the family present from 5-7.

Funeral services will be held at Evangelical Free Church, Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 10:30 am with Pastor Scott Newman officiating.

Interment will follow in the Peckham Cemetery, Gothenburg, Nebraska.

Memorials may be directed to the Earll family ~ a memorial has been set up at the Gothenburg State Bank (Kanda Earll Benefit Fund).
