Janice Lee Rickertsen, 64, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, passed away at her home on May 26, 2020 after a battle with cancer in Gothenburg, NE surrounded by her family and her loving husband.

She was born August 5, 1955 in Cozad, NE, daughter of Milton and Jewel (Roe) Schulz.  She attended school at Willow Island and graduated from Gothenburg High School.  She attended art school in Omaha and never lost her love for art and all things creative.  Jan married Archie Rickertsen on August 4, 1974 at Gothenburg and they had four children, Jarrid, Luke, Ginny and Holly.   Jan was a busy farm wife, mother and later her favorite role of "Nana".
