Janet Miesbauer

Janet Miesbauer, 69, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died February 3, 2014 at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg, NE.

She was born November 16, 1944 in Arnold, NE, daughter of Archie and Ora (Bailey) Hubbard. Janet grew up in the Brady area and attended schools at Brady graduating with the class of 63'. She lived in Brady, Arnold, Orleans, and Cozad, NE and Washington. She was a cook and played in a Country Western Band. She loved country music and was a Elvis Presley fan. She loved spending time with her family and grandson and hanging out with friends.

Surviving are two daughters - Laura Miesbauer of Gothenburg, NE, Peggy (Keith) Pflaster of Gothenburg, NE; grandson- Lance Miesbauer; sister - Susie Hoaglund Gothenburg, NE; sister-in-law - Carol Hubbard; many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul Wayne Miesbauer; two brothers, Glenn Hubbard, Byron Hubbard; sister, Beverly; brother-in-law Pete Hoaglund, sister-in-law, Dorothy Hubbard; nephew Bob DeMilt.

Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Wednesday, February 05, 2014 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Services will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Robert Litzenberger and Pastor Larry Viter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery, Gothenburg, Nebraska.
