James "Jimmy" Carl Lavery, 96, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died December 6, 2014 at Hilltop Estates, Gothenburg, NE.

He was born July 13, 1918 in Danville, IL, son of Floyd Lavery and Martha Lavery. Jimmy was a musician and played the guitar and harmonica. He had been a resident of Hilltop Estates for the past 17 years.

He is survived by his Hilltop Family.

James was preceded in death by father, Floyd Lavery, mother, Martha Lavery.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, December 11 at 4:00 PM at Hilltop Estates.
