David Mann

David George Mann, 82, of Brady, Nebraska, died September 2, 2022 at his home at Jeffrey Lake.

Dave was born December 24, 1939 in Gothenburg, NE, son of George and Ruth (Buterbaugh) Mann. He grew up in Gothenburg and graduated from Gothenburg High School with the class of 1958. He served in the Army National Guard. Dave married Jody Healey on December 28, 1958 in Gothenburg.

Dave loved spending time with his wife and kids. His grandchildren and great grandchildren always brought a smile to his face.  He made every single one of them feel special.  Dave enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting, sailing the waters of Jeffrey Lake, playing his guitar, and mowing his yard.

Survivors include wife, Jody Mann of Jeffrey Lake-Brady; four children, Tagg (Lisa) Mann of Brady, Lisa (Dennis) Kentfield of Omaha, Willy (Beth) Mann of Milford, and Jimmy Mann of Brady;  brother, Dale (Patti) Mann of Hastings; sister, Frances (Tim) McClellen of Gothenburg; 15 grandchildren and 31 great -grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Dave was preceded in death by parents, George and Ruth Mann; daughter-in-law, Jamie Mann; siblings, Adeline, Don, Bill, Bob and Annette; parents-in-law, Bill and Beulah Healey; sister-in-law, Kay; granddaughter, Brianna; and two great-granddaughters, Brooklyn and Madison.

Services will be held at The Crossing Fellowship, Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Eric Most officiating.

Memorials may be sent to the Brady Volunteer Fire Department, The Crossing Fellowship, the Jamie Mann Memorial Scholarship, or donors choice.
