Carol Bihlmaier

Carol Joan Bihlmaier, 76, of Gothenburg, NE, died September 6, 2017 at her home in Gothenburg, NE.

Carol was born November 2, 1940 in Gothenburg, NE, daughter of Vera Marie (Aden) and Lloyd O. Sealander.

She grew up in Gothenburg and was a member of the American Lutheran Church. She married Dennis H. Bihlmaier on July 27, 1959 at Ogallala, NE.  She liked to watch "Days of Our Lives", "Young & the Restless" and "The Price Is Right".  She enjoyed camping and visiting with people while camping.

Surviving are husband, Dennis Bihlmaier of Gothenburg, NE, son, Steven D. (Lisa) Bihlmaier of Cozad, NE, daughter, Denise (Bill) Tate of Bland, VA, daughter, Cindy (Randy) Garcia of Gothenburg, NE, daughter, Kelli (Dave) Cullers of Cozad, NE, sister, Connie (Ralph) McNulty of Cozad, NE, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by parents Lloyd O. and Vera Marie Sealander, in-laws, Henry and Ruth Bihlmaier, brothers-in-law, Warren Bihlmaier, Gordon Bihlmaier, sister-in-law, Dolly Bihlmaier, great-granddaughter, Aiyana Tate.

Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Friday, September 8, 2017, 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm. family present from 5:00-7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at American Lutheran Church, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Jon Mapa officiating.

Burial will follow in the American Lutheran Cemetery, Gothenburg, NE.
