Billy Farr

April 30, 1977 — May 19, 2023

Curtis

Billy Farr, a man of many trades, passed away on May 19th, 2023, at the age of 46. Born in Oberlin, KS on April 30th, 1977, Billy graduated from Imperial High School in 1995.

Throughout his life, Billy was always eager to learn new things. His career spanned several fields, including being a ranch hand at Bear Mountain Ranch and working as a cook at Curtis Cattle Company. However, he was best known for working at Klien's Motor and Electric on square bailers where he helped teach others the trade and how to fix their own equipment such as swathers, skid loaders, and combines. He had a reputation for being smart and knowledgeable about just about everything. He was always willing to help anyone out without expecting anything back in return.

Billy had many interests outside of work as well. He loved spending time at the lake fishing and camping with his family. Hiking and exploring were other favorite pastimes of his.
He also had a passion for cooking and gardening - he would try his best to make sure that everyone enjoyed what he cooked and would take great pride in seeing his plants grow.

One of Billy's proudest accomplishments was serving as a volunteer firefighter for many years at Red Willow Western.

Billy Farr is survived by his wife Slaina Farr; children Lucynda, Octavia, Faliciti, Daphnie, Jazmine (Izaiah) Farr-Moran, Mari (Clancey) Smith; mother Joan Corey; father William Lee Farr; sisters Jessica (Jeff) Sims, Jyl Lytle, Kristina Keyser, Keshia Nera; brothers Jeff Lytle, Kenneth (Angie) Farr, Joe (Raven) Farr, Benjamin Farr; Robert Propp; Ben Propp; aunts and uncles Rebecca (David) Seybold; Thomas (Nancy) Corey; Daniel (Millie) Corey, Mary (John) Robinson, Rodney Farr; Mitchel Farr, Rose Horgitt, and Christine Stauter.

Billy was proceeded in death by his mother, Alma Farr, grandparents, Kenneth and Gwendelyn Farr, grandfather, Joseph Corey, aunt, Naomi Corey, uncle's David Corey, and Jerry Farr.
