Beulah R. é�a��A"Booé�a��? Healey, 90, died on December 13, 2006 at her home. She was born on October 17, 1916 to Harry M. and Edith Reed at Creston, Iowa.
She married William H. é�a��A"Billé�a��? Healey in Creston, Iowa on December 15, 1934. In 1938 they moved to Gothenburg where Bill worked for the Central Nebraska Public Power District, while they were building the McConaughy Irrigation Project. Boo stayed at home raising the family during this time. In 1948 they went to work in the dehydrated alfalfa business. She was secretary/treasurer for Gothenburg Feed Products Company until her retirement in 2000.
She was a 50 year member of the First Presbyterian Church and also a 50 year member of the P.E.O. Chapter AW. She enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge, travel, boating at Jeffrey Lake and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include: One son: Terry (Cathy) Healey of Gothenburg. Two Daughters: Kay (Herb) Linsday and Jody (Dave) Mann of Jeffrey Lake. Grandsons: Tagg (Lisa) Mann, Willy (Beth) Mann, Jim (Jamie) Mann, Terry Wehnes, Robert Wehnes, Chris (Stacy) Healey. Grand-daughters: Lisa (Dennis) Kentfield, Edie (Mike) Patton, and Elizabeth Healey, twenty great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband (June 12, 1994), infant daughter Mary Ellen and a great-granddaughter Briana.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Gothenburg, NE, with Pastor Matt Coplen officiating. Private family burial prior to the service at the Gothenburg Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg.
