Bernice Maline, 86, of Wallace, Nebraska, died September 25, 2015 at the North Platte Care Center in North Platte, NE.

She was born February 25, 1929 in Gothenburg, NE, daughter of William H and Laura Belle (Rosser) Garrelts.  Bernice grew up in Gothenburg and graduated from Gothenburg High.  In 1947 she married Stanley Maline; to this union six children were born. Bernice was a busy farm wife and mother.  In 1973, they moved to Wallace, NE where they continued their farming and ranching. Bernice was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was a Pathfinder Club leader for many years.  Bernice was involved in Extension Club, a Bible Study group, a Christian Women's Club, and was also a 4-H leader.

Bernice is survived by her children, Judy (Jim) Little of New Market, Virginia, Cheryl "Terri" (Mike) Gonzales of Grand Island, LuAnne (Tony) Barner of Wallace, Ronda (John) Kreifels of Lincoln, and Randy (Denice) Maline of Wallace. She is survived by 18 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters, Alice Sheffield and Linda (Bill) Hughes and a brother Glenn Garrelts; sister-in-law, Bonnie Maline and brother-in-law, Aksel (Betty) Jensen; along with many extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley, her parents, an infant daughter; a brother and a sister along with numerous other family members.

Visitation will be held at the North Platte Seventh-day Adventist Church, 815 W Francis St, North Platte, NE on Monday, September 28, from Noon to 1 PM.

Funeral Services will be held at the North Platte Seventh-day Adventist Church, 815 W Francis St, North Platte, NE on Monday, September 28, at 1:00 PM

Interment will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery, Gothenburg, Nebraska.
