Annette Miller

Annette Miller, 50, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died April 16, 2015 in Gothenburg, NE.

She was born March 13, 1965 in East Chicago, IN, daughter of Eleuterio "Ted" Layton Jr. and Olga (Garza) Layton.

Annette lived in Gary, IN until she was 12, then she moved to Denver where she lived until moving to Gothenburg in 1987.  She married Jerry Miller April 7, 1985 at Denver, CO.  She enjoyed painting, music, and collecting things.  She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids.

Surviving are husband, Jerry Miller of Gothenburg, NE, daughter, Heather Miller of Gothenburg; step-sons, Cody Miller of Grand Island and Shane (Becky) Miller of Gothenburg; eight grandchildren; one great grandson Damien; her parents Olga and Pete Geuardiola of Gary, IN; brother, Tony Layton Edinburg, TX; sister, Diane Butler of Gary, IN; mother-in-law, Ruth Miller of Gothenburg; father, Eleuterio "Ted" Layton, Jr of Edinburg, TX; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Annette was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Earl Miller; her grandparents Aurora & Robert Garza and Dolores & Eleuterio Layton Sr; a sister-in-law Diane Janssen; brother-in-law Joey Butler and several aunts & uncles.

Memorial services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Carol Mapa officiating.
