Norm Pramberg, 72, of Gothenburg, NE, went home to be with the Lord on Friday June 28, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE.
Norm was born on January 22, 1947 in Gothenburg, NE, the son of Albert and Rosy (Sall) Pramberg.
On July 9, 1971 he married Carla Hoesch in Gothenburg. They were approaching their 48th Wedding Anniversary.
Norm graduated from Gothenburg High School in 1965. He loved competing in athletics, and was a guard on the basketball team that went to state, and was a running back/linebacker on Gothenburg's 1964 State Championship football team.
Loving sports as he did, Norm spent many years playing and competing in the community on Wednesday night "Fat Man's" basketball and summer softball leagues.
He spent his life in Gothenburg farming and ranching, and it gave him the freedom to attend every single game his three kids played in, home or away, which he loved doing. He loved the Lord and had accepted Jesus as his Savior as a child at a rally his parents had taken him to at Maranatha Bible Camp. He was a member of the Gothenburg Evangelical Free Church and never wanted to miss church or Sunday School. He was also involved in Fumblers.
Norm had an infectious laugh and was always so much fun to be around. He saw the world in a fun and jovial way.
Norm is survived by: his wife Carla of Gothenburg; daughter Shannon Pramberg of Lincoln; sons Jeffrey and Matthew Pramberg of Gothenburg; brother Roger (Jean) Pramberg of Gothenburg; brother-in-law David Hoesch of Lincoln; sister-in-law Vicki (Bob) Swanson of Wilcox; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
